My Sister Sarah is proud to call Cincinnati our home. We have been playing the Cincinnati scene as MSS for over five years and play the hottest venues and events in Cincinnati and Northern Ky. These have included, Q102's/Fox19 Morning Show, Q102's Party at Sawyer Point, The 2009 Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha, Bridge For a Cause, The Taste of Cincinnati, and many more.
Our set list is one that forces you to get out of your seat and dance like a fool, and not care what people think. We cover the big hits from the 80's, 90's and currently what's hot on the air waves. Every show is an interactive night to remember. We go from Hip-hop, to Country, to Rock, and back again, leaving you in a tail spin.
The forties be flowing, the dice be a throw'n, and the booties be a bounce'n when we walk in. Ain't no joke when the boyz from the "Nasty Nati" do their thang.
When you come to see our show, you'll stay until the very end. Our strong vocals and solid rhythm section, along with an energetic, mind blowing stage performance, is what makes us a band to remember.
Where did the name come from? A lot of people come up to us and ask where the name of the band came from? The simple truth is that a good friend of one of the members (who's name we shall not mentions to protect the innocent) in the band has a sister named Sarah. There was a history of a very long and theatrical sibling rivalry. The name "Sarah" would be mentioned at every gathering we would be at, because this person disliked their own sister so much. Every time we would see her it was always, "My Sister Sarah" is such a %$#&@.....you get the idea. After you hear it so much, it just kind of get stuck in our heads, so we decided to name the band....."My Sister Sarah". I guess girls will be girls, and a sisters love runs deep.
Booking the Band: If you are looking to book the band.... do it quick, we book six months in advance. We can do weddings, festivals, and really any private event you can think of. We provide state of the art sound and lighting as well as D.J. equipment. If you are a bar or a club owner and you are looking for a band the keeps people spending money without having to "blow the bank" on your entertainment costs, we are what you have been looking for.
